A beginner-friendly guide to FilterPixel's AI editing tools, from uploading images and choosing an AI profile through export.

Step 1: Upload Your Images

Start by clicking the "Select Files" button or dragging a folder containing RAW or JPEG images into the workspace.

Step 2: Set Up Your Project

After adding your folder:

  • Name your project for organization
  • Choose a shoot type matching your session (Wedding, Portrait, Event, etc.)
  • Click "Next" to proceed

The AI automatically culls images so you can concentrate on creative priorities.

Step 3: Start Editing

Click the "Edit" button to access the editing interface.

Step 4: Choose an AI Editing Profile

FilterPixel offers several AI Profiles designed by professional photographers:

  • DreamTone by Gjermund — Soft, airy tone for outdoor/mountain work
  • Timeless by Vanessa Norris — Clean, refined style for romantic wedding photography
  • Adore by Dominic Lemoine — Moody, dramatic aesthetic for evening/low-light shots
  • Shaadi by Robin Saini — Vibrant, high-contrast approach for colorful cultural events

Preview each profile using before/after sliders and select between JPEG or RAW editing. Alternatively, use "Create Your Own Profile" to build a custom AI style based on your Lightroom edits.

Step 5: Click 'Edit Images'

Select your profile and click "Edit Images." The AI applies your chosen style automatically.

Step 6: Export Your Edited Images

Click "Export" and choose your destination:

  • Lightroom Classic — Direct catalog export for additional refinements
  • Capture One — Send files directly into Capture One

That's It!

The workflow transforms your upload-to-export process, minimizing repetitive tasks and maximizing creative focus.
