Why does it take so long to show previews?

Fix slow or missing previews caused by file access permissions when photos are open in another app.

Previews aren't loading means that the FilterPixel app is not getting permission to access your files — typically because the same photos are already open in another application like Lightroom.

To resolve the issue:

  1. Close all other applications that have the same photos open
  2. Exit the FilterPixel app completely
  3. Reopen the FilterPixel application
