Getting Started with FilterPixel

FilterPixel is an AI-powered photo assistant designed for photographers who shoot weddings, portraits, events, and more. The platform helps photographers reclaim time by automating time-consuming workflow tasks.

Step 1: Download & Install FilterPixel (Total time: 5 minutes)

You can use FilterPixel on Mac or Windows.

You'll need:

  • A FilterPixel account (Free or Paid)
  • Access to your RAW/JPEG files

Next steps:

  1. Download FilterPixel
  2. Install and sign in
  3. Launch the app and create your first project

Step 2: Import Your Photos (Total time: 3 minutes)

Easily import from folders, memory cards, or directly from your Lightroom catalog.

You'll need:

  • A folder of RAW or JPEG files
  • (Optional) Lightroom catalog if you want synced metadata

Next steps:

  1. Click New ProjectImport Photos
  2. Choose your folder or catalog
  3. Let FilterPixel start analyzing previews automatically

Step 3: Let AI Cull Your Photos (Total time: 10 minutes)

FilterPixel automatically detects blinks, blurs, duplicates, and bad shots — and recommends the best photos.

You'll need:

  • Your imported photos
  • Internet connection for AI processing

You can:

  • Switch to Face View to select your favorite people easily
  • Use Magic Number Mode to auto-select your top shots per series

Step 4: Edit with AI (Total time: 10–15 minutes)

Once you've selected your best shots, let AI Editing do the heavy lifting.

You'll need:

  • Finished culling
  • Internet connection for AI editing

Choose from:

  • Pre-built AI Styles (Cinematic, Natural, Moody, etc.)
  • Your own Editing Profile trained from Lightroom edits
  • One-click batch edit for hundreds of photos

Step 5: Export or Share (Total time: 5 minutes)

Once your photos are ready, you can:

  • Export to Lightroom Classic, Lightroom CC, or Photoshop
  • Export locally in JPEG or DNG
