How to Update the File Path for Adobe Apps (Lightroom CC, Lightroom Classic, Photoshop)?

Instructions for relinking Adobe applications in FilterPixel after moving or reinstalling them.

For Mac Users

1. Access your profile by clicking the initials (profile icon) in the top-right corner
2. Scroll to locate Lightroom CC, Lightroom Classic (LrC), or Photoshop with an Update button
3. Select Update for the desired application
4. When prompted, open the Applications folder from the right panel
5. Find and select the app file:
   • Lightroom CC.app
   • Lightroom Classic.app
   • Adobe Photoshop.app
6. Click the main app icon and confirm selection
7. The path updates, enabling exports and edits

For Windows Users

1. Click your initials (profile icon) in the top-right corner
2. Locate the app you need (Lightroom CC, Lightroom Classic (LrC), or Photoshop) and click Update
3. A selection window appears
4. Navigate to the default installation location or custom folder:
   • C:\Program Files\Adobe
   • Or your custom installation directory
5. Open the app folder and select the .exe file:
   • Lightroom.exe
   • LightroomClassic.exe
   • Photoshop.exe
6. The path updates, enabling exports and edits

Note: Repeat for each application needing relinking.
